The respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un regards the work for children as the most important state affair and bestows the greatest benevolence on them.

He ensured that the founding anniversary of the Korean Children’s Union was celebrated splendidly every year and even personally attended the congresses of the KCU to bless the future of its members.

He also saw to it that schools with excellent educational conditions and environment, bases for extracurricular education including schoolchildren’s palaces and children’s camps and facilities for various cultural and leisure activities were built throughout the country.

Under his loving care, the KCU members are growing up to be reliable successors to the revolution.
