Ideological Might Underlies the Creation of the Korean Speed
Innovative things have taken place one after another in Korea since the Eighth Conference of Ideological Workers of the Workers’ Party of Korea. Whoever you go to see, for example, the workers of the Chollima Steel Complex that is seething with the production of steel or the workers in the expansive Yonbaek Plain, you can see them enthusiastic about production.
Kim Jong Un, supreme national leader, said to the conference of ideological workers that by bringing about high tides in the mental strength of the service personnel and people, the Party had turned the trials decisive of the victory and defeat of the revolution and its advance and setback into great upswings of the revolution, and that the revolution had achieved a great success whenever an upswing was effected in ideological work.
When there started a project of building a fishing station in the East Sea of Korea coast to supply fish exclusively to orphans’ homes and schools and the elderly’s nursing homes across the country, the People’s Army soldiers who were in charge of the construction finished the arduous and large project at the highest possible level of quality in a little over two months, including the apartment buildings for the fishermen.
One day in April last Kim Jong Un inspected the station whose completion was near at hand. He said that the station is a wonderful monument to the era of the Workers’ Party of Korea and that a new picture of the Songun era came into being on the coast of the East Sea of Korea. He praised that the successful completion of the colossal project in a short span of time and full preparation for the immediate operation was an amazing miracle, and that that was the Korean Speed.
The Korean Speed was born of the high spirit and determination of the service personnel to bring the WPK’s policy into effect with credit.
