Visit to Newly-built Breast Tumour Institute
DPRK Marshal Kim Jong Un, First Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, First Chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and Supreme Commander of the Korean People’s Army, visited the newly-built Breast Tumour Institute at the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital.
He went round various places of the institute to learn in detail about its construction, performance and specifications of medical equipment and appliances and their management and operation.
He recollected that General Kim Jong Il gave an earnest instruction on building a modern breast tumour institute at the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital in November last year, the last period of his life, and personally examined its blueprint. He told the officials of the institute to properly manage and operate it associated with the benevolent affection of Kim Jong Il.
He repeatedly expressed his satisfaction after looking round the institute, noting that it has been built quite well to be impeccable in any aspect and that the Korean women would be very pleased to visit it. He gave thanks to the soldier-builders who took part in the construction of the institute.
