Kim Jong Un inspects dental care supplies factory

Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers’ Party of Korea, chairman of the DPRK State Affairs Commission and supreme commander of the Korean People’s Army, inspected the newly built Dental Care Supplies Factory.

He was accompanied by Hwang Pyong So, Pak Pong Ju and other senior Party and government officials.

With a total floor space of 12 720 square metres, the factory can turn out annually tens of millions of tubes of toothpaste, mouthwash and a variety of dental care supplies.

After being briefed on the factory and its production processes in front of large maps, he made the rounds of the integrated manufacturing control room, different production processes, analysis room and other places to acquaint himself with the construction and production.

Appreciating the monitoring and automatic control system of each production process, he said that thanks to the perfect establishment of the integrated manufacturing system the factory is able to conduct production control and business activities in a scientific and three-dimensional manner.

The automatic levels of the processes of producing toothpaste, mouthwash and its bottle are very high, he said, adding that other processes for dental floss, tooth-picking brush, denture-cleaning brush, tongue scraper and brush are also decent.

He stressed the need to increase the variety of the dental care supplies and specified other tasks to be tackled by the factory in management and operation.

He said that the Party and government are taking full responsibility for the people’s lives and health and that such socialist healthcare is one and only in the world.

To give full play to the advantage of the system, he noted, the Party continues to channel big efforts into strengthening its material and technical foundations. And he stressed it is needed to ensure the people lead a worthwhile life enjoying themselves the benefits of socialist healthcare.
