The animal ecology hall is in the Natural History Museum situated at the foot of Mt Taesong in the capital city of Pyongyang.

In the hall there are diversified flora and fauna of tropical forests and savanna. Over 260 stuffed animals and models, and many botanical specimens are on display in the cave section, oceanic ecology experience section and land ecology section.

The cave section shows the life of animals living under the ground and in caves through the stuffed animals and multimedia.
