Int’l Day of Persons with Disabilities Marked

The Korean Cooperation Office for the Disabled and Orphans (KCODO) is making vigorous efforts to carry on its mission. This office was organized thanks to the active cooperation of the Central Committee of the Korean Federation for Protection of the Disabled (KFPD) and Ms. Shin Young Soon, a Korean resident in America, and other Koreans living abroad and the deep concern and support of the DPRK government. Ms. Shin Young Soon, 67, who is a joint head of the KCODO, visited her motherland every month in the third quarter of last year and gave sincere support to the KFPD for the care of the disabled and orphans. San Hose Onnuri Church, G & H Foundation and other organizations of Koreans resident in foreign countries, and Mr. Huang Joseph and Ms. Lee Jeong Eem and other Korean compatriots living abroad rendered active support to the Central Committee of the KFPD striving to develop the country’s program for the care of the disabled and orphans. The Central Committee of the KFPD expresses deep gratitude to Ms. Shin Young Soon, Mr. Huang Joseph, Ms. Lee Jeong Eem and other Korean compatriots living abroad and their organizations. It will pool its efforts with individual Koreans and their organizations who hope to take part in the projects for the disabled and orphans.
