National Founding Day Marked

   The National Founding Day was commemorated with due ceremony at the Mausoleum of King Tangun on October 3, 2025.

   Present there were Kang Yun Sok, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK, officials concerned, officials of the National Authority for the Protection of Cultural Heritage and working people in the capital city of Pyongyang, and overseas compatriots staying in the homeland.

   First, there was a memorial service for King Tangun.

   Then, Hwang Kwang Il, director of the National Authority for the Protection of Cultural Heritage, made a commemorative report.

   He paid the highest tribute to President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who put to rights and glorified the time-honoured history of the nation.

   Thanks to ardent patriotism of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, another peerless patriot, the country is opening up a new era of world-startling miracles and prosperity, demonstrating the prestige of an invincible socialist state which is dignified with independence by dint of unity, he stressed.

   He called on all the people to cherish the pride in holding Kim Jong Un in the highest esteem and give full play to the courageous mettle of Koreans in the sacred struggle to achieve the great cause of building a powerful and prosperous country, displaying the self-supporting creative spirit.
